TLDR mid is 3mm, soft is 4mm, soft is squishier than my MM350 was, mid is a pretty hard pad with faster glide than the soft. Please read the rules. I have never used either of the two pads you mentioned so I can't compare to those, sorry! The mid is a pretty hard pad though, so it's going to feel a lot closer to an actual hard pad than any other soft pad I can think of. The mid also seems to do a bit better when my hand gets a little sweaty from playing. The soft is pretty squishy, at least in my opinion, but probably not that much squishier than some other soft pads (my old pad before the zero was a Corsair MM350 and it's a little softer than that to me). After using the soft for a few days, I ended up switching back to the mid because I prefer the harder feel of it. Mid is only 3mm thick vs 4mm for the soft, and the mid is definitely faster. I just put it where I wanted it and pressed down on it and it stays where I put it. Mid does stick to my wooden desk just fine, although it slid around at first when I placed it down. I own both mid and soft, both in the XL size. Please respect the rules of the subreddit, flair your posts, and have fun! New to reddit? Click here!
